• KRISHI NGO – SEE2READ Programme is a flagship program to safeguard the vision of school going poor children (minimum of 1,000) of 5 years through 15 years located in rural areas. According to educational experts, 80% of learning is visual. So if a child can’t see well, he can’t learn well. As per the statistics in India, it is found that 22% of children (1 out of 5) are suffering with sight related problems during their schooling. It may be because of nutrition, poor lighting, access to CRT TV’s and or smart gadgets.  We mobilize the doctors and necessary computerized eye-testing equipment to the rural schools and have them screened thoroughly to detect eye-sight. We also provide spectacles to the children detected with eye-sight at free of cost.
